On Hold For Liz: RARE C.1930s Barbini VAMSA Murano Sfumato Glass Bird Sculpture with Label!
From around 1936 to 1944, Alfredo Barbini was partner and master glassblower in Vetri Artistici Muranesi Società per Azioni [V.A.M.S.A.] and his work from that time is extremely rare and highly coveted. Not only is this gorgeous little bird a documented part of that production--see the documentation at the Murano Zoo here: https://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-by-barbini/birds-by-barbini-2--but it still also sports the original sticker VAMSA was known for!
